Gerard has over 11 years’ experience in Direct Selling and over 25 years’ experience leading technology companies across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. As a Director at Optus, Gerard led the wholesale division as well as the Consumer Sales and Marketing division for mobile. Having gained a passion for consumer sales, Gerard’s next step was Managing Director of the Strathfield Group, a company with 100 stores across Australia selling a broad range of electronic goods.
Gerard first became involved in the direct selling industry in 2013, when he moved to Amsterdam to head up ACN’s business development function in Europe. He was then asked to return to Australia to lead the Pacific region in late 2014. Since then, Gerard has led his team to transform the business, now partnering with leading brands in telecommunications, energy, home insurance, travel and electronic payment services.
In 2024, ACN made the difficult decision to exit all international markets. Given his experience and tenure, Gerard was their first port of call. Gerard and his wife, Audrey, have now successfully purchased the ACN business in Australia and New Zealand. Having seen the impact the direct sales industry has on so many people’s lives, they are tremendously excited to invest in this unique services based opportunity in Australia.

Young, fresh, vivacious, driven. Jen Usher is the ultimate next generation leader with a passion for people and a flair for innovative thinking.
As one of the Direct Selling industry’s youngest CEOs, Jen has helped billion-dollar beauty and wellness brands such as Rodan + Fields and Kyani Australia & New Zealand launch and thrive in Australia and New Zealand. Often having to overcome adversity to lead her teams remotely, she’s steered the way in leveraging social and digital resources to build strong teams, community, a strong sponsoring culture and delivering enviable results.
With an intimate understanding of social media and gen-z/millennial culture, her next step into the premium haircare and skincare industry with powerhouse brand MONAT was a match made in heaven. Admittedly “fan-girling” over the brand that was born in the digital age and attracts a younger audience, Jen’s move into the role of MONAT Australia’s Vice President & Managing Director was meant to be. Since launching MONAT Australia in October 2021, amongst some of the harshest restrictions nation-wide, she’s used her playful, fun and hard-working approach to smash company records and exceed sales forecasts by more than 200%.
As a mum of two girls, Jen is equally as passionate about helping men and women find success in this channel, as she is about setting an outstanding example for her daughters. Proving that you really can have a family and a career that is truly limitless.
So, whether it’s keeping up with the fast pace of a growing company, developing leaders or taxiing her kids to and from soccer or dance, there’s nothing a little bit of coffee, dry shampoo, eye cream, and massive amounts of passion that can’t make big dreams come true.
